Suzanne has worked for Bethesda Christian Broadcasting for over 10 years. She comes to us from previously working at both of the other BCB locations, in South Dakota and most recently, Wisconsin. Her career in radio began in the BCB offices where she was quickly drafted to do on-air work which then progressed to full-time on-air programming and moved on from there. Hosting the morning show for the past 7 years in South Dakota and in Wisconsin has always been a favorite part of Suzanne’s radio career. One of her shows was called Mornings with Mis-Happs, and yes, she had the mishaps to prove it and shared them regularly on the air. A heart for missions (at home and around the world) is at her core and she considers it a supreme privilege to work for a company whose beginnings come from a missionary heart and continues that heartbeat today in day-to-day operations, sharing the love of Jesus Christ through Positive FM.
Suzanne and her husband Alan have been married for over 20 years and still hold hands whenever they get the chance. They are raising two sons; Jakob, who is a fine arts major, attending college in Kansas City and Riley, who is a senior at Brunswick High School. They have 2 dogs, Kramer (better known as Krame-diggity-wow-wow) and new addition, Penny. Their family loves to travel, listen to stand-up comedy, play board games, sing, and play practical jokes on one another. Don’t worry, it rarely leaves the home.
To wake up each morning knowing that you are going to a job you love is a great blessing!
Suzanne has learned that lesson over the last 10 years of working for Bethesda
Christian Broadcasting. She loves that each day is spent finding new ways to reach the lost and encourage brothers and sisters in the love of Christ through this radio ministry. She looks forward to what the future will bring, with the ministry of Positive FM!
